A type of soft confectionery that look like little babies, Jelly Babies come in a variety of colors and are very popular in the UK. Launched in 1919 by Bassett's as "Peace Babies" to mark the end of WWI. Each individual Baby has a color and name: Brilliant (red - strawberry), Bubbles (yellow - lemon), Baby Bonny (pink - raspberry), Boofuls (green - lime) Bigheart (purple - blackcurrant), and Bumper (orange).
