This MTD Lawn Mower Blade (302-428) is a replacement for MTD 172-7926, 177-2144, 742-0611, 742-0611A, 942-0611, and 942-0611A. Fits MTD 1997 and newer models with 46" decks (needs 2 of these blades and 1 of the 302-432 blades for 46" decks). Blade is 16 1/4" long by 2 1/2" wide and has straight edges. Silver Streak toothed blade. Note: The blade is held on with a nut for 1997 and newer MTD models, so you will require the 285-104 Jackshaft Nut (sold separately). This blade is not designed for use with mulch kits.
