A herb and spice sauce mix for Shepherd's Pie. 4 servings. - Prepare and Use: You Will Need: 450g (1lb) minced lamb or beef. 2 small onions, sliced. 2 carrots, peeled and diced. 1 packet Schwartz Shepherd's Pie Recipe Mix. 200ml (7fl oz) water. 100g (4oz) peas. 675g (1½lb) mashed potato. Directions: 1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6. 2. Brown the minced meat, onions and carrots in a saucepan. Drain excess liquid. 3. Stir in the packet contents, water and peas, Bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. 4. Transfer to an ovenproof dish and cover with potato. Bake for 20-25 minutes. 5. Serve with steamed green vegetables.
